Topic Studios was founded in June 2008 by Madhavi Jagdish, She has worked as a designer at Weldon Owen Publishing, Inc, Tenazas Design, Mass Communication, Volume, and Design at Noon. Here she worked on projects ranging from book design to identity systems and websites for clients like Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, The San Francisco Aeronautical Society, The Slanted Door Restaurant, The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, ODC and the Weatherspoon Museum. Her work on the Fashion Catalog 2004 was featured at the CCA Centennial Show at the SFMOMA. She has been the recipient of the Print Regional Design Award and American Graphic Design Awards in 2006 and 2007. Most recently she taught a course titled The History of Graphic Design to Junior year students at the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore. Her resume can be found here.
